On 3 April at 19:00 there is a Ken Ham creationist meeting at Parklands Leisure Centre, Oadby, at which several of our members will be distributing leaflets.

We will be there from 6pm to catch people before they go in.
We had a discussion about the leaflets at the last Headstrong meeting. These say: Creationism Threatens Science Education and on the back are links to YouTube videos that explain evolution by natural selection in simple terms. The internal text explains what is meant by a Theory in science, and why creationism is not science.

'The principal speaker will be a man who serves as a Judge of a Shariah Court in Britain.
'This meeting is in response to a request from a local Muslim group to come and tell us about Shariah. They have agreed that in return we will go and tell them about Secularism. This promises to be a very interesting evening.'
